We are pleased to announce that we are now supplying AdBlue in 640 litre IBCs (intermediate bulk containers).
At K&S McKenzie, we are one of the leading suppliers of AdBlue in the North and have been supplying to businesses and individuals up and down the country for over 10 years. Our AdBlue is available across a range of quantities from small 5 litre bottles to large deliveries made using our 25,000 litre AdBlue tanker.
Over the years we have noticed an increased demand for AdBlue due to increases through the addition or replacement of vehicles and plant among our customer-base. As usage increases the storage and handling of larger quantities of AdBlue can become more of a problem.
April 2022 will see the government’s ‘Plastic Packaging Tax’ come into force meaning that the disposal of containers is set to cost businesses more than ever before. While environmentally this is of huge benefit, many businesses could find themselves paying the additional tax and our reusable, refillable IBCs will help many avoid paying this next year.
In offering our new 640ltr IBCs, we are providing a product that aids in the mass handling, transport, and storage of AdBlue with the containers themselves being capable of stacking and easily moved by pallet jack or forklift.
In addition to the above, a huge benefit of these containers is that they are reusable, reducing plastic waste and removing the additional cost many have when it comes to the disposal of used plastic containers.
AdBlue purchased in our 640ltr IBCs offers a more cost-effective way forward compared to the purchase of numerous smaller containers. So, if you use more than 500 litres of AdBlue in an eighteen-month period (the shelf life of AdBlue stored correctly) then purchasing in larger quantities such as in our IBCs could be of great benefit.
